IngredientsDried figs – 100 g Condensed milk – 250 g Sugar – 50 grams Saffron – 8-10 Gage Yellow Color – 2-3 drops Almonds - cashews chopped – ½ cup Powder sugar – 50 grams
Heat half a cup of water in a kadai. Add the figs and sugar and cook on medium heat for about five to seven minutes or till sugar dissolves. Add mawa and continue cooking, stirring continuously till it is light brown in colour. Add ghee and green cardamom powder and mix well. Remove from heat. Divide in to two parts. Add Saffron and yellow colour in one part. Cool and spread yellow part into a greased thalli. Cover with another part. Cover with silver foil or paper. Cut into squares and serve.
